Being An Elk The Livonia Elks Lodge is a place where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks members invest in their communities by supporting programs that help children grow up healthy and drug free, by undertaking projects that address unmet local needs and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Download Why Be A Member.pdf Membership Opportunities To be eligible for membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, you must be a citizen of the United States over the age of 21 who believes in God. You must be sponsored by a member of the Elks Lodge and reside in the jurisdiction of the Lodge you wish to join. Starting May 15, 2012, members of the Elks will be able to send membership invitations to friends and family via the elks.org website.
